Background

Our client, one of the few boutique wealth managers in the UK to run its own specialised funds since 1984, require a Junior Paraplanner.

You will be working closely with an experienced Wealth Manager and their team, handling the day-to-day paraplanning duties, meeting deadlines and ensuring the smooth running of their meetings by maintaining strong relationships with clients, driving engagement and positive outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of financial plans and presentations for clients
  • Conduct research and analysis on investments, insurance products, and financial planning strategies
  • Prepare and maintain client financial planning and investment databases
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial planning, investment, and insurance products
  • Collaborate with the team of advisors to ensure clients' needs are met
  • Maintain client files and ensured that all required documentation is complete and accurate
  • Assist with client communication and follow-up as needed

What you bring to the table.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment, to take initiative and work independently
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and VBA
  • CFP designation or progress towards obtaining the designation is a plus
  • In-depth understanding of financial planning and the investment arena
  • Up to date with relevant product, legislative or technical changes Deliver analysis of services, maintain sound risk management & compliance practices
  • Be confident delivering customer service to clients and consultants.
