Background
A highly regarded and growing B Corp registered Fund Manager require a Senior Paraplanner. Working alongside senior members of the business you must be technically competent across various products such as pensions, investments, IHT, ECG and Estate planning. You will play a pivotal role to the business. Working collaborative your recommendations and experience will be highly respected. You will be expected to work closely with advisers, attend client meetings and build relationships with clients.

The Role
Responsible for the day-to-day paraplanning analysis and problem solving activities . These could include suitability reports and client portfolio reviews.
Requirements
- In-depth understanding of financial planning and the investment arena.
- Up to date with relevant product, legislative or technical changes
- Deliver analysis of services, maintain sound risk management & compliance practices.
- Be confident delivering customer service to clients and consultants.
- Handel day to day queries relating to new and existing business.
- Establish close working relationships with all areas of your internal team area (e.g Team Head, Consultants, Administration and other Technical Consultants in the business).
What you bring to the table.
Skills & Professional qualifications
- Minimum 24 months in a dedicated paraplanning role.
- Ideally chartered or working towards advanced diploma
- Ability to present and write technical papers
- Experience of FE Analytics, Excel, Selectapension, Defaqto and Voyant.
Core accountabilities
- Prepare robust suitability letters for all areas of financial planning
- Adhere to compliance and regulatory requirements
- Client portfolio reviews including investment analysis
- Maintain all records (electronic and paper) in line with procedures
- Liaise with Administration to ensure smooth processing of new business
- Attend client/product provider meetings, where appropriate
Risk and change management Responsibilities
- Maintain training and competency
- Full engagement with compliance ensuring adherence to regulatory/governance requirements
- Manage reputational risk and in particular covering ongoing Know Your Customer and Money Laundering responsibilities
- Embrace Change Management and Project activities across business functions

The role is a full-time position based at our office near Monument in London with a salary of 50K + discretionary bonus. Other benefits include:
- Salary of £57K + discretionary bonus
