The position
Our partner, one of the world's leading Investment Management companies, is seeking a talented Finance Officer to join their dynamic team in the heart of Amsterdam. He/she will have tasks that are both operational and controlling and will cooperate closely with our international teams.

Key Responsibilities.
- Assist the Head of Local Finance in managing and ensuring high-quality, timely completion of tasks within the local Finance Department
- Support with accounts payables and receivables, periodic closing, regulatory reporting and monitoring, and business analysis
- Accounting, ensure daily finance tasks are aligned, including invoice payment process execution
- Coordinate the daily/monthly/quarterly/annual and ad hoc finance operations
- Administer cash account movements properly and timely
- Perform analytical reviews and accounting controls, such as monitoring sensitive accounts
- Reconciliations, reconciling income/expenses, and stock reports/general ledgers
- Reporting, client- and regulatory reporting; prepare and ensure the quality of internal and external reports (e.g., Dutch Central Bank reporting, fiscal reporting)
- Advise management on various topics and maintain contacts with internal parties (e.g., Tax, Legal)
- Actively participate and contribute to projects impacting the Finance Department
What you bring to the table.
- MBO+/HBO level education in a financial/accounting field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Sound accounting knowledge, including IAS & IFRS standards
- Fluent in Dutch and English
- Accurate, analytical, and able to work under pressure with strict deadlines
- Strong team player
